LOS ANGELES, CA (PRWEB November 18 2003--Toni Ferrari, former guest of FOXs popular summer reality series Paradise Hotel has signed on to appear in the feature No Pain, No Gain. The film, which is being produced and directed by Samuel Turcotte and is currently shooting in the San Jose area, marks the first major film focused on the art of bodybuilding since Pumping Iron," the 1977 classic documentary that launched the career of Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Ferrari, who shocked and amazed American audiences week after week with her no-nonsense approach to the Paradise Hotel game and her in-your-face" attitude, will play a loud reality TV show contestant in the film. The role in No Pain, No Gain was specifically written with her in mind after the filmmakers saw her on the FOX reality series.
A Chicago-based personal trainer and fitness model, Ferrari also appeared as one of the contestants on FOXs 2001 reality series Love Cruise: The Maiden Voyage. Ferrari has also been cast in the upcoming independent feature The Final Minute. Her other film credits include extra roles in Touchstone Pictures 2000 comedy High Fidelity, starring John Cusack and Jack Black and Warner Bros. 1998 action-adventure flick The Negotiator, starring Samuel L. Jackson and Kevin Spacey.
No Pain, No Gain is a dramatic comedy about a former champion bodybuilder whos become obsessed with physiological research in his quest for the ultimate training regimen and, consequently, has let his world-class physique go. Determined to introduce his new ideas to the world, he journeys to the Mecca of bodybuilding, Los Angeles, to prove himself. The film stars renowned champion bodybuilder Gus Malliarodakis and IFBB Pro bodybuilder Dennis Newman. Cult heroine Julie Strain will also appear in a cameo role.
