Kevin Chow, Executive Director, President and Founder. Kevin grew up in this industry and learned from his father before him. KML itself has principally engaged in the operation of machine parts for more than 20 years… a long history in the industry. His dream is to build recognition for the KML brand worldwide. Accomplishing this will be realized in no other form than extraordinary effort. Kevin expects to create value added thinking in everyone, and coach and lead the team to personal competence. François Lépine, Co-founder of KML in Canada, 1994. Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering from Montreal Polytechnic Institute (1988) Over 15 years of experience in power transmission. He is dedicated and committed to making the KML brand a well known product line in the worldwide market, as a life time project. Vice President -Sales and Marketing of KML Canada, he will be responsible in developing the North American distribution network as well as institute, new product development. As a bilingual professional and natural leader, Francois will enable and empower the team as a whole. He will inspire and motivate them through his clear vision and values, and seek to innovate and create new ways of doing business.
Stella Fan, fluent in English, has a previous background with our parent company Premier Bearing, in Hong Kong since 1986. She then moved to Canada and joined KML in 1996 to set up our distribution office in Ontario. Stella now holds the title of Vice President Operations and is responsible for our Procurement, Warehousing & Logistics. With more than 14 years experience working in this industry and with this company, she brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding. She will continue to earn our customers confidence through her new challenges and is committed to achieving a balance between fast stocks replenishment & inventory control. For our customers this translates into increasing fill rates, and minimizing backorders.
Melody Syme, B. Comm. KML announces the newly appointed Marketing Manager to their League. Background includes 13 years senior sales and marketing experience. Most recently she worked in the home appliance industry previously employed with recognized international parts supplier AP Wagner, as their Canadian Sales and Marketing Manager. She brings strength to the company that includes 21st Century new methodology. Melody will undertake the change management of the companys technological advances in the e-business, such as the companies i-bearing factory catalogue model soon to be available through our web site www.kml-bearing.ca and will introduced this technology to the staff and customer base. In addition she will implement a leading CRM software solution, which will assist the company to understand the customers better, and creating a single data base. As a savvy marketer, it is the expectation that Melody will develop merchandizing tools that will introduce the KML Brand to the global spectrum as the Western Standard, China Resources".
Garth Evans, has been appointed National Sales Manager, he will assume the management of the Canadian sales staff, and help grow the business through consistent and persistent execution of a sales plan. Garth was previously employed with Thompson Industries Inc., of Port Washington, New York as their Canadian Sales Manager. Mr. Evans brings 20+ years of experience in both the linear and rotary bearing industry. His knowledge in this industry will surely compliment his approach, to work with our customers and prospects as their business partner, in a joint venture providing products and services that match their current and future needs. He is committed to creating satisfied customers and long term relationships which will last over years to come. Garths team includes; John Sebrants, who has been employed as our Ontario Sales Representative for 8 years. His background includes 40 years of experience in mechanical design & power transmission applications, as well as industrial conveyor, and material handing design and manufacturing; Stephen Johnson, with KML since February 2002, is our Quebec Sales Representative. He is bilingual and customer oriented with over 5 years of experience in the Industrial Parts Distribution. Stephen has the unique ability to sense the customers needs, and is very capable when communicating the benefits of KML.
Richard Robichaud, fluent in both official languages has been with KML since June 1998, is our Manager, Montreal Operations and responsible for our Customer Service and Bilingual Order Desk. Richard was instrumental in the aforementioned KML Montreal, experiencing substantial growth and is widely considered a forerunner to our team. He is customer service oriented and ready to go that extra mile. With his background in customer service, and in-depth knowledge of our customer base, coupled with his strong desire to participate in our future success, it is expected that Richard will continue to be instrumental in helping us realize our goals. Richard will lead team members; Daniel Guérin Jr. customer service team leader. with KML since 2000. Daniel learned the ropes from the warehouse (shipping) and then showing great interest was promoted to inside sales. He takes great pride in his work, is bilingual, friendly and sensitive to our customers needs.
