Australian Comedy Star Promotes New Software

Comedy veteran Danny McMaster has been selected as the lead representative in Australia for a new patent pending software product. The Comedy Evaluator Pro software is designed to objectively determine the "funny factor" for live and filmed comedy performances.

(PRWEB) November 23, 2003 -- Danny McMaster, singing impressionist and one of the top comedians in the Australia, has been selected to represent Baquay Publishing LLC to promote Comedy Evaluator Pro, new patent-pending software that objectively determines the "funny factor" in any comedy act or program.

McMaster, a 25 year comedy veteran who has performed for Australia's highest eschelon, is the right person for the position according to the inventor of the software and Baquay Publishing LLC founder, Steve Roye. "Danny is not only a stellar entertainer, but he is also an avid student of comedy. He recognizes the need for an objective measure of what's funny and what's not. Best of all, he not only understands the software, he uses it."

We import comedy films and television programming from the U.S. and other countries
The software is designed to be used with recordings of live or taped comedy shows or performances. Primarily, the software is used to automatically document the time spent by the audience reacting to the performance, film or video.

The concept behind the software is simple. There are two events that occur when a comedy show or performance is presented to an audience: the show or performance happens or the audience reacts. Each of these events is objectively measurable and can provide the data needed to determine the percentage of the performers act that results in positive audience response (i.e., laughing, cheering and applause).

McMaster is excited about the prospects for the software. "We import comedy films and television programming from the U.S. and other countries" states McMaster. "Imagine being able to screen these entertainment products objectively for audience acceptance and impact before they are purchased for distribution. In business, it's called risk management. That is just one of many applications of this software."

Promotion of the Internet based software is already underway in the United States and in Germany.

ComedyProSoftware.com is a division of Baquay Publishing LLC and includes ComedyUniversity.com and KillerStandUp.com, organizations dedicated to product research, development, quality improvement and marketing for global entertainment markets in the field of comedy entertainment and presentations incorporating humor.
