Simi Valley, CA (PRWEB) December 3, 2003 -- Having only recently opened an office in the Santa Clarita Valley, Simi Valley based web development firm 2Xtreme Media won the bid to redesign and redevelop the Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce website.

Development of the new Chamber of Commerce website began about three weeks ago and 2Xtreme Media is aiming for a completion date before the first of next year. The development firm met today with Chamber staff to cover their progress and demonstrate some of the completed web applications.
"I'm pleased because the Chamber is pleased," said Scott Berry, developer and partner at 2Xtreme Media. "I've lived in this area most of my life and was pleased that we were awarded this bid. I really wanted to be sure that the Chamber staff would be equally pleased with our efforts. So far, so good!"
Chandler sees potential for future projects with this particular bid. "There are so many fantastic possibilities for Chambers of Commerce on the web," Chandler said. "Some already use powerful web application tools to manage their web properties. Many are not. We may use this experience to develop a web based product specifically for Chambers of Commerce."
The Santa Clarita Chamber of Commerce website will also be hosted on the 2Xtreme Media hosting network. The "2X Hosting Network" consists of several dedicated Windows web servers, Linux web servers, and Microsoft SQL servers, maintained in a Los Angeles based collocation facility. "We manage our servers well and price our hosting competitively," said Berry. "The Chamber will be just as pleased with our hosting as they are thus far with our development work."
