The HardDrive City Network, the Community Network That Gives Back to the Community

The HardDrive City Network is a series of Community Portal Websites actively involved in fundraising for worthy organizations. Such organizations include groups representing the disabled, churches, schools, Chambers of Commerce and clubs.

(PRWEB) December 20, 2003 -- The HardDrive City Network is a series of Community Portal Websites actively involved in fundraising for worthy organizations. Such organizations include groups representing the disabled, churches, schools, Chambers of Commerce and clubs. Fundraising campaigns can either be ongoing, of a set duration, or both. Revenue is raised through selling advertising to local and national businesses, and through an extensive online catalog of unique products. A portion of all proceeds is donated to a worthy organization, even if the local HardDrive City Franchise has not established a local fundraising partnership. Each HardDrive City Website is locally based, yet also linked through content and products to every other HardDrive City Website.

What differentiates a HardDrive City Network Website from similar sites is:

•   A high percentage of all revenue goes directly to the fundraiser, usually 25-33%.
•   There is no cost for an organization to partner with HardDrive City and begin fundraising.
•   Businesses can place advertising or products in HardDrive City, immediately reaching a rapidly expanding series of Community Targeted Websites.
•   Businesses can place their products throughout the HardDrive City Network at no cost. Only when a product sells does HardDrive City take a commission, with a portion of each sale going to the fundraiser.

HardDrive City is rapidly expanding and is looking for qualified operators. Such operators include the disabled. The qualifications for running a HardDrive City Website include:

•   A motivation to better ones situation.
•   A desire to be part of a team.
•   An internet connection.
•   A telephone.
•   Basic computer skills.
