SAN DIEGO (PRWEB) June 2003 – At the 29th Annual Pacific Southwest Emmy Awards, Steve Gibby, president of 2Reel Media Group, LLC, of Las Vegas, received an Emmy Award for his work as Director of the Las Vegas Stampede television program. The fast-paced program aired last year on CBS affiliate KLAS-TV in Las Vegas, and via broadcast, satellite, and cable on America One Network, Comcast Sports Southeast, RFD-TV, and portions of Fox Sports Net. The Pacific Southwest Region of the National Television Academy received approximately eight hundred overall entries for the Emmy Awards. Top-level television industry professionals in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, St. Louis, San Francisco, Florida, and various other areas of the country judged the entries.
2Reel Media Group has also received five other national media awards for the Las Vegas Stampede television program, including the following awards: Telly, Aurora, Communicator, Videographer, and Aegis.
The documentary-style program, covering the event held last September near downtown Las Vegas, profiles professional chuckwagon racing teams from Canada – with all the action, speed, and thrills a rodeo event can provide. The television crew featured widely experienced camera operators and talent from across the United States and Canada, outfitted with jibs, lifts, point of view cameras, and state of the art broadcast cameras.
