Army Sergeant and Hip-Hop artist ready to release music CD.

Active Duty, Army Sergeant First Class Francisco Logan and Hip-Hop artist, Valet, prep to release their first music project through their independent record label, Lo-Down Entertainment. Sergeant Logan is the CEO and President for the small Los Angeles based company and Valet is the label's first signed artist. Modeling themselves behind other indies such as: P. Diddy, Master P and Cash Money, Lo-Down strecthes farther to reach a broader audience with it's brand.

(PRWEB) September 17, 2003---After 2 years, recovering from the death of his first wife of fifteen years, Francisco Logan, an active duty Sergeant First Class with the Army's Training and Doctrine Command, bounces back strongly, creating an independent record label, Lo-Down Entertainment.

The Non-Commissioned Officer based in Pasadena, CA, who's nearing retirement status from the U.S. Army after 20 years of active service in January 2004, has been busy putting together his team and company over the past year after being disgusted with the music playing on the airwaves by dropping the first product from his imprint by Hip-Hop artist, Valet, September 23rd against a handful of other talented hip-hop artists.

The CEO and marquee artist met at a music convention held at UCLA last summer and have been performing at premiere clubs and venues throughout Southern California and Las Vegas, Nevada building their fan base while putting together what is now the "Park That Azz" CD. The 16 tracks of refreshing fat beats and lyrical rhymes, which has been getting positive responses from both fans and radio alike, is aimed at getting away from the grittiness of gangster and thug life. "Lo-Down's goal is to bring back the fun Hip-Hop music and music in general, enjoyed in its early days, when you didn't have to bring a gun or bullet-proof vest to the club to get your groove on", stated the newlywed and father of three girls, ages 3 to 8 and step-daughter, age 4. The indie label sports all genres, but it was the response Valet had from crowds at the shows that prompted Mr. Logan to release Lo-Down's Hip-Hop brand first.

Lo-Down's future endeavors includes a compilation of Country, Gospel, Hip-Hop/Rap, Jazz, Pop, and Rock ready for next summer with the talents of newcomers: Beverly Collins, Shar'ron, Saraii, 2-Real, and others. The label is available to all for future interviews and reviews.
