Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) September 18 2003--Diana Barber, former Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C. Vice President and Associate General Counsel, has formed LodgeLaw, a law firm specializing in assisting hotel and motel managers to build a wall of defense around their hotels and motels and making them bulletproof from legal attack. This 14-year veteran of the law department of Ritz-Carlton has decided to stay in Atlanta rather than move to Chevy Chase, Maryland where the companys corporate office relocated to last June.
LodgeLaw, P.C., is focused on providing professional hospitality legal services to hotel and motel owners and operators who do not have in-house counsel to assist with their every day legal needs, but need someone on their team to quickly address their legal concerns. The company can provide training and assist with integrating valuable tools to reduce potential legal exposure and liability.
The demand and need exists for small and medium-sized hospitality companies who do not have the legal resources available in-house to seek daily preventative legal assistance in order to reduce or eliminate the escalating expenses associated with attorney fees, settlements and litigation." said Diana Barber, president and founder of LodgeLaw, P.C. Every hotel and motel company can greatly benefit by implementing the legal tools and expertise provided by LodgeLaw."
Ms. Barber, a cum laude graduate of Mercer Law School in Macon, Georgia, is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, The Florida Bar and the Georgia Hospitality and Travel Association. She began her legal career as an associate attorney at King & Spalding prior to joining the law department at Ritz-Carlton.
