The SAP FAQ Welcomes Citrix Systems as Major Sponsor of Worldwide Technical Support Network - Twenty Topical Forums Address Benefits, Technical Challenges and Solutions Associated with SAP Software Products

Citrix Systems has joined a growing list of organizations providing major support of the SAP FAQ's 20+ technical support forums and related resources in support of SAP software products. 2004 marks the SAP FAQ's 10th year of service to SAP professionals.

KALAMAZOO, MI (PRWEB) January 30, 2004 -- The SAP FAQ (www.sapfaq.com) today announced that Citrix Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: CTXS) is a key sponsor of the SAP FAQ's Worldwide Technical Support Network, a members-only resource providing a worldwide system for collaborative peer-to-peer technical support of SAP AG (NYSE: SAP) business applications. Citrix leads a growing list of technology industry leaders sponsoring the SAP FAQ and its programs.

At the heart of Citrixs relationship with the SAP FAQ are sponsorship of the long-awaited Technical Support Resource Center, a multi-faceted, Web-based library of SAP-related help files that will be launched in Q1 2004; and participation in the searchable archive of the SAP FAQ's entire Technical Support Forums Network, the industry's first and longest-standing system of email-based, peer-to-peer technical support for SAP.

Citrix sponsorship is a natural extension of the ongoing relationship that began two years ago when the SAP FAQ's members voted Citrix software one of the top 25 best complementary solutions for the powerful suite of SAP software products. Citrixs 2002 SAP FAQ Members Choice Top 25 award was followed by a second Top 25 award in 2003, earning Citrix the SAP FAQ's Gold Star designation for achieving Members Choice recognition two years in a row.

David Jones, Citrix senior vice president of Corporate Development, stated, "As these awards indicate, the SAP FAQ membership highly values the benefits that Citrix software adds to an SAP solution. We are committed to reaching out to these technical professionals with education and community sponsorship to enhance their success with SAP solutions. SAP FAQ programs such as its Technical Support Forums Network give Citrix a way to show how our software and SAP work together to benefit enterprise organizations."

The Citrix and SAP Partnership
Citrix extends the value of the mySAP.com Business Suite through access infrastructure software that gives users easy, high-performance access to applications from any location, device or connection while lowering the total cost of ownership of the computing environment. Citrix enables the SAP user interface to be efficiently installed, managed and deployed from central server farms.

In addition, the alliance provides seamless integration between Citrix® MetaFrame® Presentation Server and SAP® Enterprise Portal, a technology solution of the SAP NetWeaver technology suite. The newly developed iView in the Business Package for Citrix allows SAP customers to extend their current SAP portal solutions to include any available application resource, regardless of where it originates.

Citrix offers the Citrix Developer Network (CDN), an online technical community similar to the SAP FAQ. Through Citrix sponsorship of the SAP FAQ, the members of the CDN will be brought closer together with SAP technical experts, providing benefits to both groups from sharing knowledge about using Citrix software with an SAP implementation.

"We are pleased to welcome Citrix Systems as a sponsor of the SAP FAQ," said Janelle Ross, director of Member Services for the SAP FAQ. "With Citrixs assistance, the many support resources of the SAP FAQ will help thousands of SAP professionals worldwide learn how to provide access to the on-demand enterprise. Using Citrix access infrastructure solutions, these professionals can consolidate their complex IT environment and improve SAPs ROI."

About The SAP FAQ

Developed in conjunction with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the SAP FAQ is anchored by a network of more than 20 topical support forums, in use by more than 1,000 leading organizations that have implemented SAP as their ERP/CRM/e-Commerce solution of choice.
