Based on the information collected from the hate emails, Meridian Promotions IT consultant found that the IP address of the spamming server belongs to a Meridian Promotions of Haiku, Hawaii.
In an attempt to decrease the number of calls and emails, Meridian Promotions has published the spammers details at www.meridianpromotions.com/spam.htm.
This shows how spam is a nuisance not only for the recipients but also innocent bystanders. Meridian Promotions is exploring its legal options and plans to take action against the real spammer.
