Seventeen Authors Publish First of its Kind Poetry Book, Tapestries of the Heart".

January 2004, a new book of poetry is being released to the public. Like so many others, it will be placed alongside thousands of other books, each clamoring for notice. So, one may ask, what makes this book special?

(PRWEB) January 18 2004--"Tapestries of the Heart– Emerging Poets of the 21st Century (Volume 1)" will stand out on several accounts, seventeen to be exact. This amazing book is a compilation of the works of seventeen poets, each from different walks of life and from all over America and Europe. They met through the internet by virtue of their love for poetry. To this day the authors have not met one another except through the work shared in this exceptional book. It is a first time venture, for the group and it is brilliantly done.

In this book, one can read the fascinating poems from virtual unknowns who all possess the talent and gift of putting the pulse of the heart to print. These are the emerging poets of the 21st Century, as their professionally written works will attest; and soon the world will read.

This book has been created for the common person. The life struggles and dreams of today are all displayed by virtue of line and stanza. Emotion and imagery will grip and guide each reader to a crescendo of literary enjoyment felt within the tapestries of the heart.

ABOUT THE BOOK
Three poets, each a stranger, had the same dream. Frustrated with phony promises of having their works published that lead nowhere, they envisioned a book where new poets like themselves would be recognized. Through the Internet, James Furber, Michael Cotner, and James Hastings met and shared their dream with each other. Was it possible to actually publish a book of poetry featuring unknowns who had nothing but great talent and the dream to see it through? These three men thought that it was. They gathered friends they had met while posting and sharing poems on the internet. Joined by another dedicated poet, CJ Rider, the four worked diligently to collect, review, format and proof every poem. In addition, CJ did the book illustrations, and another contributing poet, Sherri Tillman, designed the book cover. Truly a project of love, Tapestries of the Heart...Emerging Poets of the 21st Century" is the culmination of this mutual dream.

This is not just an ordinary poetry book. It is crammed full of great, honest poetry. You will read some of the most touching poetry youve ever read." EmergingPoets.com

The book is published by and available through 1stBooks, Bloomington, IN. ISBN 1-4140-2077-5 AND 1-4140-2078-3, Library of Congress # 2003097920. Their web site is www.1stbooks.com . It is also available on www.emergingpoets.com as well as most all national book retailers.
