U.S. Troops In Iraq Find Sinus Relief With Hot Pepper Nasal Spray

Many soldiers stationed in Iraq are using a new all natural pepper nasal spray to combat the harmful effects of dry dusty conditions in that region. This unique nasal spray has developed somewhat of a cult following among soldiers caught in the heat of war.

Albany, NY (PRWEB) January 19 2004--Sinusitis symptoms and migraine headaches are bad enough to begin with, but could you imagine facing this affliction in the middle of a desert climate during the heat of battle? Many of our soldiers in Iraq don't have to imagine because they're living it everyday.

Due to the hot dusty wind driven conditions in Iraq, soldiers are facing constant sinus, allergy, and headache problems that can effect performance, and endanger their lives. The two most prominent medical conditions affecting the troops are diarrhea and sinus symptoms. Soldiers say the sinus problems are from the dust, and the diarrhea is from the bad quality of available water. For the diarrhea, Imodium AD" is the product of choice, and for the sinus symptoms, many soldiers have found a new product sold over the web.

Known as The Sinus Buster", its the worlds first nasal spray made with (capsaicin), a natural hot pepper extract. Sinus Buster is touted as the only nasal spray that relieves a variety of sinus related symptoms including chronic congestion, sinus headaches, sinusitis, and allergies. This unique nasal spray also fights many types of headaches including migraines and clusters.

Since SiCap Industries started marketing The Sinus Buster, sales have been tremendous. People who suffer from sinus symptoms and headaches order the spray from all over the world, but it turns out that one of the companys largest customer bases happens to be U.S. troops based in Iraq.

It all started with a few orders from relatives of soldiers who wanted to help the troops with their complaints of chronic sinus problems. Many times it was parents or wives ordering the spray, and then having it shipped to their soldiers through the Army Post Office. After a few months of this, the word spread on how effective our product really is. And before we knew it, both relatives and stateside soldiers started ordering whole bunches for their buddies in Iraq. We get lots of emails from soldiers and their relatives telling us how the sinus buster totally overpowered the harmful effects of the climate in Iraq. It makes me proud", says the sprays inventor, Wayne Perry.

While numerous servicemen, and women complain of chronic sinus problems due to the Iraqi climate, medics have yet to find something powerful enough to combat the unrelenting dusty air. So it makes sense that soldiers are finding their own relief, though from a very unlikely source – hot peppers.

A lot of the guys over there are using the buster several times a day to clear out the dust, and believe me the dust gets everywhere in Iraq. The inside of your nose gets filled with brown dirt from just normal breathing. And Ill tell you what - the pepper clears it right out. When you snort this stuff it sure wakes you up, and thats a good thing. Weve got to stay alert," says Sgt. 1st Class David Banks, 36, of California. Banks recently returned stateside, and still uses his Sinus Buster everyday.

Bob Haines, Director of marketing for SiCap Industries says, "We even have a few soldiers stationed in the South Pole of all places who are using our product. It turns out they face alot of sinus infections from being couped up in close quarters with very dry heat. I believe it started when one concerned mom ordered a spray for her son who was heading out to sea".

The companys website has links to clinical trials showing the effectiveness of capsaicin, and lots of information to back up their product, including testimonials. Another interesting thing is how this unique product has also become a very hot item on ebay. We checked the feedbacks associated with Sinus Busters exclusive ebay distributor, and the reviews are glowing to say the least. According to "ebayers", and our "troops", The Sinus Buster is a true breakthrough in relieving headaches, allergies, and sinus symptoms.
