The Mid-Atlantic Apple Macintosh User Groups Team (MaMUGs) announced today that Frank Petrie is stepping down as Technology/Products Specialist on their board of directors. Dennis Sellers will join MaMUGs' board as Technologies Director. Sellers is founder and "Chief Macsimizer" for Macsimum News and Editor-in-Chief/Publisher of the highly successful Macsimum Perspective online.
(PRWEB) October 4, 2004 - The Mid-Atlantic Apple Macintosh User Groups Team (MaMUGs) announced today that Frank Petrie is stepping down as Technology/Products Specialist on their board of directors. According to Jim Anderson, Public Relations officer for MaMUGs, "Frank will continue to be a part of our family as we continue to grow the scope of our offerings and we anticipate his continuing to be involved with our programs for user groups. He has contributed a great deal to our efforts during his three years on the board and his wit, insight and presence will be missed by all."
Anderson is also reporting today that Dennis Sellers will join MaMUGs' board as Technologies Director. Sellers is founder and "Chief Macsimizer" for Macsimum News and Editor-in-Chief/Publisher of the highly successful Macsimum Perspective online. Prior to this, he has had over 3,000 magazine and newspaper articles published covering a wide range of subjects including, of course, Apple products for Macworld/MacCentral and MacMinute.
"We have always had a very good friendship and working relationship," reports Sellers, "and I enjoy the fact that Macsimum News and MaMUGs both share a genuine interest in helping the community." Sellers has participated in MaMUGs events and contributed his articles to their user group leader-specific newsletter. In addition, MaMUGs president, Daniel East, has contributed to Sellers' projects since 1998 and serves as a contributing editor for Macsimum Perspective.

MaMUGs). Their on-going mission is to promote cooperation, camaraderie, collective events & continuous support for Apple and Macintosh User Groups.
