Reality TV star turned funky fashion designer releases entire spring/summer 2005 collection in time for the holiday season with portions of all profits going towards Rupert Boneham's non-profit organization, Rupert's Kids.
(PRWEB) October 7, 2004 -- Surrounded by the glitz and glamour of the WWDMagic show in Las Vegas and flanked by a bevy of her fellow reality TV stars, Christa Hastie enjoyed a successful launch of her debut fashion collection, Christa Hilda.
Christas eclectically decorated booth was a constant attraction at the 4-day fashion industry trade show with a rotating collection of reality TV stars from shows such as Survivor (with 6 seasons represented), Average Joe, Joe Millionaire, and Big Brother available for photos and autographs.
The evening of Wednesday, September 1st brought Christas runway fashion show at Planet Hollywood in Caesars Palace. In an event hosted by Rupert Boneham, winner of Survivor: Americas Tribal Council and Marc Marcuse of Average Joe, Christas fashions looked fantastic modeled by reality TV vixens Jenna Morasca, winner of Survivor Amazon; Sarah Jones, Survivor Marquesas; Kelly Wigglesworth, Survivor Palau Tiga; Nicole Delma, Survivor Pearl Islands; Sandra Diaz-Twine, winner of Survivor Pearl Islands; and Sarah Kozer of Joe Millionaire. The lovely ladies were escorted by Survivor hunks Brian Heidik, winner of Survivor Thailand; Dave Johnson, Survivor Amazon; Burton Roberts, Survivor Pearl Islands; and Ryan Opray from Survivor Pearl Islands.
Both Christas booth and her runway event received considerable press attention, with camera crews from CBS, The TV Guide Channel, E! Entertainment Television, and others producing segments highlighting Christas debut. The Early Show on CBS aired a lengthy segment covering Christas efforts in Las Vegas, highlighted by host Tracy Smiths stunning appearance in Christas signature Candy Pop” dress.
And just today, Christa has released her entire "CH: Christa Hilda" spring/summer 2005 collection in time for the holiday gift-giving season to be available only through her website at www.christahilda.com. A portion of all profits will go towards fellow Survivor Pearl Islands castaway Rupert Boneham's new organization, Rupert's Kids, an organization committed to changing lives by empowering youth to discover their inner strengths, realize their own self worth and their value to society (www.rupertskids.org).
