Ice Hotel Quebec-Canada will celebrate its 5th anniversary with a festivity packed 2005 season from January 7 - April 3, 2005. It is one of the great winter tourism destinations that can be rediscovered year after year.

Sainte-Catherine-de-la-Jacques-Cartier, (PRWEB) October 11, 2004

Just five years ago, The Ice Hotel Quebec-Canada project became reality. The only Ice Hotel in North America, the second in the world, was revealed for the first time in Quebec for Winter 2001. Four years later, more than 220,000 people have visited this exceptional attraction and 10,500 have enjoyed a magical overnight experience that start at only $159 US/person. Totally unique, Ice Hotel, one of the postcard perfect winter destinations has become a flagship tourism product in the region, province, and the country for both the national and international markets. Check out www.icehotel-canada.com for all of the details.

An Enhanced Season
Preparations have begun for the 2005 season that begins January 7 and ends April 3, 2005. The Ice Hotel team will celebrate the five years of existence of this magical place in grand fashion. Ice Hotel should have its best season ever if the current tourism economy trend holds, explains Jacques Desbois, CEO of the Ice Hotel. Tourism-industry indicators have demonstrated a tangible increase and recovery. Results are being felt from the marketing and commercialization efforts of the past few years: already the number of weddings booked for 2005 has exceeded the total from last season.

New Features
Ice Hotel is an ephemeral and grandiose place to rediscover year after year. Travelers will be spoiled this year with a fabulously diversified array of packages and services. Couples will be able to combine a fairytale destination wedding in the Ice Hotel chapel with a hot honeymoon to the burning island of Tahiti. Not to leave teenagers in the cold, "6 to 9" privatized dance parties will be organized specifically for them in the Nice Club. There will be booming music and a fiery hot alchohol-free atmosphere. Fresh entertainment activities are planned for the launch of a festive approach towards winter art.

The 2005 decor of Ice Hotel will be the cornerstone of this fifth season with particular attention being paid to the various decorative elements and atmosphere of the hotel. In 2005, visitors will not believe their eyes.
