A Method Of Developing Pointed Questions To Defeat Bush And Cheney

(PRWEB) October 8, 2004 -- A METHOD OF DEVELOPING POINTED QUESTIONS TO DEFEAT BUSH AND CHENEY

By Rev. Bill McGinnis, Public Domain

Here is a useful method for developing pointed questions for Bush and Cheney, in order to defeat them in the upcoming elections. This method is based loosely on the discipline known as "Critical Theory," which I don't even pretend to understand fully. Nevertheless, I do understand part of it, and it is this . . .

If a leader has really messed up badly, as Bush has done, and caused great harm, you can expose his failures and turn his followers against him by asking multiple pointed questions, forcing him to defend the indefensible against an assault from all directions.

These pointed questions are designed to penetrate the usual rhetorical defenses, which deflect the typical routine questions. Note: these questions cannot be answered by giving little "mini-speeches," which is what Bush usually does when he gets easy questions from his lap-dog questioners. Note: this method works best when big, important mistakes have been made, causing great harm, as is the case with Bush and Cheney.

The general form of the questions is this:

"WHY DID YOU DO THIS (stupid action) WHICH CAUSED THIS (bad result)?"

or

"WHY DO YOU ALWAYS DO THIS (stupid policy WHICH CAUSES THIS (bad results)?"

Then you close your mouth and listen, while your victim struggles to explain the unexplainable. Note that each question in this form contains two accusations, linked by cause and effect. These questions are intended to be rough and destructive. This is political hardball, for a good reason: to rescue the USA from the tragic bad leadership of George W. Bush. (Please also see http://www.TragicBadLeadership.com )

Here are some possible questions for Bush and Cheney, using this "Critical Theory" method:

1. "Why did you ignore the many warnings you received, and allow the terrorists to attack on September 11th?

2. "Why did you waste all the time since 9-11, and still not have a good "watch list" for terrorists on the airlines?"

3. "Why did you lie about weapons of mass destruction, and lead us into this idiot war in Iraq, for no good reason, with no end in sight?"

4. "Why did you give a huge tax break to your wealthy supporters, and take this money away from health care and other services to help all Americans, not just the rich ones?"

5. "Why did you neglect to provide proper leadership, and allow the perverted torture of innocent prisoners in Abu Ghraib prison?"

6. "Why did you abandon the established policy of fair and balanced treatment in the Middle East, and enable the Israelis to abuse the Palestinians any way they choose, without fear of criticism from the USA, hiding behind the ever-present excuse of self-defense?"

7. "Why do you always oppose legitimate public regulation of profit-seeking corporations, thereby allowing them to walk around freely, like uncontrolled elephants, trampling whomever they choose?"

8. "Why do you always veto every Security Council resolution which criticizes Israel in any way, thus driving our true friends and allies farther and farther away from us, because of our obvious injustice?"

9. "Why do you always shoot first and think later, thereby leading us blindly into tragic situations like this idiot war in Iraq, for no good reason?"

You get the idea. Now let's go to it! Everything is beginning to come unglued for Bush and Cheney. Now is the time to finish them off.

Blessings to you. May God help us all.
