The photographs feature all phases in the construction process, including: sitework, concrete slab preparation, tilt-up construction, various skills and trades, finishes, special construction, equipment and mechanical work. The photos are large enough to use in publications and other print documents, and can be resized down for use on websites and computer presentations.

The photos are organized into the CSI Divisions of Construction Specifications and the collection can be searched for specific keywords. Site visitors can scan through thumbnail-sized photos and view larger preview" versions for more detail. When they find a photo they want, they submit a brief form (name and email address) and receive a link to the full size image in their email. The preview versions are watermarked with Construction Photographs copyright information but the full size images are not watermarked.
There is no charge to use the photographs, in print or in electronic form. The only requirement is that Construction Photographs receives a photo credit and (in electronic applications) a link back to its website for each use of each photograph.
Use of the photographs is free," said Schaefer. There are no hidden costs or charges later on. We understand that privacy is a serious concern for many; we make it very clear that we do not compile mail lists or sell user names to spammers. Using our photographs will not generate more spam in your inbox. All we want in return are the photo credits and links back to our site.
