Taste Fine Wine, Win Great Prizes, and Help the Buffalo & Amherst Communities, at the Rotary Club of Amherst East Annual Wine Tasting Event

This year's wine tasting begins at 6:30 pm on Friday, November 5. The Rotary Club of Amherst East is one of four Rotary Clubs in the Amherst suburb of Buffalo, New York. Each year, the club raises funds for local causes by hosting a wine tasting event at Daffodils restaurant in Amherst, NY.

(PRWEB) October 14, 2004 -- The Rotary Club of Amherst East invites any adult interested in fine wine to attend its annual wine tasting event on Friday, November 5. The wine tasting event will take place from 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm at Daffodils Restaurant, 930 Maple Road, Amherst, NY.

Our annual wine tasting event offers terrific value to participants, while raising funds for local causes," said Paul McAfee, president of the Rotary Club of Amherst East. The proceeds from this years event will benefit the Williamsville East High School Scholarship Fund and other local community projects."

The Amherst East wine tasting event raised $6,000.00 for local causes last year. Participants can taste more than two dozen different wines coming from California and New York, as well as from France, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, and other countries. The Rotary Club also serves hot and cold appetizers.

Local businesses and Rotary members donate wonderful raffle prizes," said Sally Draper, Rotary club member, president of Clearfield Liquor in Williamsville, and club wine tasting organizer.

Tickets to the Rotary wine tasting event on Friday, November 5, cost $25.00 each.
