(PRWEB) October 12, 2004 -- With just a few weeks left until Election Day, Atomic Brother will release to radio, their updated version of the 1973 Alice Cooper hit song Elected," on October 11th.

The song Elected" paints the picture of a Presidential candidate who believes that he is the best candidate for the job, the patriotic, top prime cut of meat." He expects the voters to believe that he is just like they are, but, drives around in a gold Rolls Royce." This Presidential candidate seems to be more concerned with the idea of being the President of the United States than actually changing the world for the better.

Atomic Brothers decision to remake this song came after listening to the lyrics of the song and hearing how relevant they are today as they were when Elected" was written over 30 years ago. Atomic Brother reworked Elected" to be more modern by giving the song a new ad lib ending, and a middle section that includes reenacted excerpts of speeches from the 2004 Democratic and Republican National Conventions. Atomic Brother also gave the music a more modern sound that will appeal to a younger audience and the older fans of Alice Coopers original version of the song.

In listening to the lyrics of Elected," Atomic Brother hopes that listeners will be moved to get out and vote for whichever Presidential candidate they feel will be the best President of the United States; President Bush, John Kerry, Ralph Nader or any one of the may other Third Party candidates. Additionally, Atomic Brother has provided visitors of their website (http://atomicbrother.com) with a link to the Rock the Vote website (http://rockthevote.com), where they can register to vote.
