Personal Space Theatrics in associaiton with the Israeli Consulate will present a benefit reading of Hanoch Levin's play, MURDER. There will also be lecture by Donny Inbar, Cultural Attaché at the Israeli Consulate in San Francisco.

(PRWEB) oCTOBER 14, 2004 -- Murder is a provocative, unflinching look at the cycle of violence and revenge. Written in 1996 by Israels most renowned playwright, Murder received massive critical acclaim and numerous awards, including the Israeli Theater Prize for Best Play. Since 1996, Murder has been presented in over 20 different countries and a dozen different languages. Our goal at Personal Space Theatrics is to produce the New York City premiere of this highly successful Israeli play.

This benefit event will also feature a special lecture on the works of Hanoch Levin by Donny Inbar, the Cultural Attaché at the Israeli Consulate in San Francisco. In addition to being one of the foremost experts on the late Israeli playwright, Mr. Inbar has produced and anchored hundreds of radio programs on Galei Zahal (IDF Radio), was the London arts correspondent for Yediot Ahronot, a senior editor with Haaretz daily, and Editor-in-Chief of Hair weekly. Additionally, Donny Inbar has directed, translated and written numerous plays and recently completed writing a screenplay about Abraham Goldfaden, the founder of Jewish theater.

The Murder Benefit Event will be hosted at Ida Mae Kitchen & Lounge. Light refreshments will be provided throughout the afternoon, compliments of Personal Space Theatrics.
