Urban Warfare Specialist Offers Solution to Boring Exercise Workouts with Kettlebell Juggling for Fun, Strength and Conditioning

Athletes, regular fitness enthusiasts, looking for a fun, different and super-challenging workout discover a surprising choice : Kettlebell Juggling, originally developed by an American urban warfare specialist to better condition SWAT and other law enforcement types.

St. Paul, MN, (PRWEB) October 14, 2004 -- Turns out that training SWAT and other law enforcement operatives to be at their physical best while busting down doors, got urban warfare trainer Jeff Martone interested in the surprising strength applications of the ancient Russian Kettlebell. Now hes released a DVD of exercises for the general public which is both fun and challenging. http://www.dragondoor.com/dv019.html

Martone is a former senior instructor of the Agent Candidate Physical Training Program for the nuclear security teams of the US Department of Energy. One of the first Americans to be certified as a kettlebell instructor, Jeff successfully implemented kettlebells into the program. The unique twist? Kettlebell juggling, better known as hand-to-hand kettlebell workouts. The result? Workouts that made you not only stronger and more agile but were great fun and could be performed in just a few minutes.

When Martone took the position of the Physical Training and Combative Coordinator at the Direct Action Resource Center, the largest urban warfare training center in the US, Jeff started teaching the hand-to-hand kettlebell workouts to various federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies. They were an instant hit among the people who rely on their conditioning for their lives.

But Martone knew he was on to an exercise workout with broader appeal when he stopped none other than Arnold Schwarzenneger dead in his tracks at Arnolds fitness show in Columbus Ohio. http://www.dragondoor.com/v112.html
Arnold was more than enthusiastic about Jeffs kettlebell demonstration. So, after the great success of his first kettlebell DVD, Martone has now released his second DVD on hand-to-hand kettlebells, H2H II, Harder. Faster. Stronger.

Interestingly, Martones kettlebell workouts have been given the thumbs up by a wide range of athletes, particularly those in full- contact sports like football and hockey.
