Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) October 30, 2004 -- Henry Dahut, author of the best-selling practice development book Marketing the Legal Mind, will speak in Las Vegas on November 3. The event, hosted by the Clark County Bar Association, will be a unique opportunity to glean the foundations of Mr. Dahuts revolutionary management and strategic methodology.
By challenging the traditional and sacred role of rainmakers in most firms, Henry Dahut will present a provocative and informative overview of the latest in law firm marketing practices. The seminar will examine the common marketing practices of most law firms and demonstrate why they are ineffective.
Mr. Dahut explains, The rules of marketing have changed. A successful marketing program really requires a deep rethinking of everything that may have worked in the past. You must set aside all of the preconceptions, and even the most popular myths, about what lawyers think clients really want from them. Profitable results in todays marketplace require that lawyers start thinking differently – or risk losing clients and valuable market share to those that do."
He contends that, A successful marketing program starts from the very core of an organization, from how it operates, and it becomes a self-defining process in which the totality of a firm's character and purpose is defined not only by its leadership, but also by the needs and desires of its clients."
Mr. Dahut began his marketing career in the early-80s and held key positions in Silicon Valley, where he developed and implemented strategic marketing programs. Today, he consults and speaks on a broad range of practice development areas, including new ways of exploiting inside/outside technology and connectivity. Mr. Dahut currently sits on the Executive Committee of the State Bar of California Management and Technology Section.
Recently he published the best-selling book Marketing the Legal Mind (LMG PRESS), which has been praised for its frank and unsettling spotlight on the business of law, while debunking many of the enduring traditions and customs of firm cultures. Released to universal acclaim, the book has served as an admirable introduction to Mr. Dahuts consulting and seminar services and has been compared to the works of David Maister and Henry Beckwith.
Mr. Dahut will explore several key issues during his seminar:
• The Strategic Marketing Process.
• Building A Winning Advertising Campaign.
• Branding From The Inside Out.
• The Full Resource Law Office.
