Just Two Survive Commuter Plane Crash

Just two survive northeastern Missouri commuter plane crash

(PRWEB) October 23, 2004 -- Thirteen passengers and two pilots were aboard when the plane clipped treetops and crashed into wood just after 7:50 p.m. Tuesday. Last communication from the plane indicated a normal approach and no mention of any problems.

At least eight people are dead and five others missing, leaving just two known survivors of a commuter plane crash. Carrying 15 people on a flight from St. Louis to Kirksville, Mo., the plane crashed about four miles short of the airport into the woods.

Corporate Airlines Flight 5966 was on a regular route carrying 13 passengers and two pilots when it crashed shortly after 7:50 p.m. Tuesday. The American Airlines affiliate was on a normal approach to the airport with no mention of any problems.

The cause of the crash has not yet been determined.
