Priscilla one of seven children was born to Elijah and Johnnie Mae Everette in Gramtham, North Carolina. Although her father could not read or write and her mother had an eleventh grade education, Priscilla finished in the top ten of her high school class. She was able to further her education by obtaining an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts at Louisburg College, Louisburg, North Carolina and her Bachelor Degree in Physical Education from Methodist College, Fayetteville, North Carolina. With God’s grace and mercy, she had taken the struggles in her life and used them to move her forward. She created her own publishing company in 1999 because she did not have the financial resources to have her books published.
