The Reacta Alarm uses the latest sensor technology, which enables it to remain effective even in situations where an attack is made from behind and the alarm is released from the users grip.
Managing Director of Walk Easy Ltd, Mr. John Worthington states that: ‘The Reacta has been designed as a result of the fact that statistics, as reported by The Press indicates that a vast percentage of personal offences were perpetrated by attacks from behind (The M25 rapist being a recent example), giving the victim little or no opportunity to activate a conventional Personal Attack Alarm".
The main and unique feature of The Reacta is that it can be set to ‘self-activate. So that as soon as it leaves the hand a 138-decibel audio siren is activated as well as a high intensity LED-flashing strobe light. It also incorporates a ‘low battery warning light to help to diminish the possibility of the alarm being inoperable at such times when it may be needed.
