Download this press release as an Adobe PDF document.

PolySpace Technologies, a leading provider of software testing solutions, announces that in early Spring 2005 it will release a new plug-in, PolySpace MISRA Checker. This new offering will seamlessly combine with PolySpace proven and unparalleled runtime error detection solutions to deliver a complete analysis of the code properties, both static and dynamic.

(PRWEB) November 15, 2004 -- PolySpace products already allow software engineers to detect and fix run-time errors at the earliest possible moment. This dramatically reduces the risk that such errors negatively impact delivery schedules by imposing extra debugging efforts. PolySpace MISRA Checker will enable them to verify code compliance with the newly issued MISRA-C: 2004 standard from a unique test environment, further improving the productivity of their testing efforts.

This latest module will enable PolySpace to better answer client needs in Automotive and other critical industries" says Daniel Pilaud, CEO of PolySpace Technologies. PolySpace is recognized by the latest VDC report as the fastest growing vendor of software testing tools. PolySpace MISRA Checker will help further reinforce our leading position." he says.

About PolySpace
Recognized as the industrys fastest growing vendor for error detection solutions by a 2004 VDC report, PolySpace Technologies empowers companies building embedded software applications with the worlds first and unique solution for the automatic detection of run-time errors at compile time. PolySpace solution not only detects errors, but it also proves that most of the operations in the code are safe, which streamlines white-box and other types of conventional software testing to deliver unparalleled cost and time savings while improving the reliability of software applications.

Based on advanced analytic debugging techniques, PolySpace analyses the internal dynamics of applications by relying solely on their source code. Then, it highlights run-time errors directly in the code, following a proven time-saving process, dramatically reducing the need for lengthy debugging.

No test cases, instrumentation or execution is required. PolySpace is available in three different versions - C, C++ and Ada – for Windows, Linux and Solaris.

PolySpace solutions are currently used by a premier list of Fortune 500 companies located in North America, Europe and Asia, in such industries as Automotive, Defence, Aerospace, Consumer Electronics, Transport and Medical Devices.
