On November 10, 2004, Houston, Texas-based Stanford Financial Group licensed Q2, from QED Information Systems, Inc., as its portfolio management and investment accounting software solution. Stanford maintains in excess of $17 billion in deposits and assets under management or advisement, and will use QEDs hosted version of Q2.

Marton, NJ (PRWEB) November 17, 2004 -- Stanford specifically selected Q2 for its powerful fixed income processing capabilities related to generating statistics, such as book and market yields, duration, average life, and convexity. Q2 also satisfies key requirements of Stanfords public funds portfolio processing, including providing powerful, easy-to-use HTML and PDF reporting tools, advanced reconciliation functionality and interfaces, performance attribution tools, easy data import and export, and automated processing of interest, maturities and MBS paydowns. Additionally, Q2's state-of-the-art graphical user interface and real-time processing create a user-friendly environment for Stanford. Menu-driven, intuitive, blotter-based screens provide easy access to data, while powerful, real-time processing supplies immediate data updates throughout the enterprise. For optimal flexibility, Q2 enables Stanfords users to customize their working environments by modifying existing screens, creating custom views, building personal tickler files, and setting real-time filters and alerts.

Richard Kursman, QED vice president of sales, believes Q2 is the perfect solution for Stanford. Q2 offers Stanford the best of all worlds in terms of advanced capabilities and efficiency of operations." states Kursman. Q2 provides Stanford Financial the type of advanced functionality they require with respect to advanced reporting and investment accounting capabilities in the form of an ASP offering. For a leading edge financial services company like Stanford Financial Group, Q2 is the system of choice. We are very pleased to add Stanford to our fast growing list of financial services clients."
