Performers Academy of Orange County Offers Incredible Training at Affordable Prices

Film Director Jeff Celentano and Eric Scott Gould head up acting program at The Performers Academy in Orange County, California

(PRWEB) November 19, 2004 -- The Performers Academy located in Laguna Hills, California has been turning out some amazing actors of all ages these days, thanks to two amazing people, some amazing acting classes with very affordable programs.

Jeff Celentano, a well-known and respected independent film director has come on board and has been teaching acting to children, teens, and adults. As an accomplished actor, Jeff spent 25 years in front of the camera and has starred in over 22 films, televisions shows and commercials.

Hes written and directed, Under the Hula Moon" starring Stephen Baldwin, Chris Penn & Emily Lloyd. He directed Gunshy" starring Academy Award winner, Diane Lane and William Peterson from CSI., directed Primary Suspect" starring William Baldwin and the about to be released film Moscow Heat" starring Michael York, Adrian Paul and Alexander Nevsky.

Word of Jeffs workshops has been spreading rapidly because this is the first time Orange County has ever experienced this quality of acting training by such dedicated professionals.

Jeffs experience and passion for the arts is evident in his workshops. He comes prepared with hundreds of scenes which actors are assigned based on their personalities and talent. Watching his classes perform their scenes is as good as watching a major feature – his students becoming that good.

Jeff works with children, teens and adults and conducts Master Class Programs with the Meisner influence at the studio for the advanced actor.

In addition to Jeff, The Performers Academy is very proud to announce that Eric Scott Gould has signed on as Acting Director. Eric graduated from the Yale School of Drama with a MFA. Hes a working actor, writer and soon to be first-time director. He can be seen on the weekly hit television show, Without a Trace". Eric specializes in the Stanislavski method and teaches children, teens, adults and Master Class Programs.

The Performers Academy is an independently owned acting studio that is the heartbeat of its owner, Natalie Costa. Several years ago, she embarked on a path to help her 11-year-old daughter, Brianne, explore the possibilities of work in commercials, television and modeling. After spending a fortune on unnecessary portfolios and ineffective workshops, an opportunity presented itself for her to open The Performers Academy.

The feedback has been tremendous. Agents from Los Angeles often suggest that their Orange County clients take workshops at The Performers Academy. Many of her students have gone off to get agency representation and are working actors today.

Currently, Mason Matthews, an adorable red-headed boy can be seen on an Ebay Commercial – launching his toy boat into the ocean that is lost for years – and later, he finds its on Ebay!

Devan Gavin currently has a Humeria commercial running. Samantha Camacho, who comes to OC every weekend for classes from Oxnard – can currently be seen on Neulasta commercial.

Kyle Drum is a series regular on Unfabulous" on Nickelodeon. Mindy Sams, a mother of 2, has booked her 5th commercial recently and a Toyota print campaign.

Joe Banuelos has booked several commercials recently including Ford with Wayne Gretsky, Verizon National and Comcast.

The Performers Academy is not an agency or management company. The Performers Academy is a training facility and does not procure employment or representation for anyone.

The Performers Academy has agents that come to their school and will meet with the students, but the decision to take on a student for representation is theirs alone.
