SoldPoint is changing the face of the eBay drop-off landscape by charging a simple, reasonable flat rate of $34.95, rather than the usual 25-45% commission currently associated with these stores.

St. Louis, MO (PRWEB) November 20, 2004 -- SoldPoint! today announced the opening of its first eBay "drop-off" location in the St. Louis area offering Flat Rate Pricing. eBay drop-off stores typically charge a substantial commission of 25-45% to list customers items for sale. SoldPoint! charges a maximum listing fee of $34.95 regardless of the sales price of the customers item. SoldPoint! offers individuals and businesses an easy, fun and convenient way to sell their unwanted items on eBay and other venues without paying high commissions currently associated with drop-off" stores.

"We feel customers of eBay drop-off stores are being unfairly gouged by commissions as high as 45% in some cases," said Skip Fockelmann, President of SoldPoint, LLC. "We founded SoldPoint! with a simple concept; Charge people a fair price for incredible service. For us, that service is helping individuals sell their unwanted items with zero hassle at a reasonable cost. For $34.95 we research the best sales price for our customers items, professionally photograph those items, list the items in the best venue and category, manage the sales process, collect payment for the seller and professionally pack and ship the items to the buyer. We have found people are enraged by the high commissions other drop-off stores charge for this service. Stores in our area are charging from 25-45% of the final sales price. As far as I'm concerned, that's just gouging customers." said Fockelmann

SoldPoint is the first drop-off store in the nation to offer eBay drop-off service at a flat rate with no commissions.

Experienced sellers and those who have never sold before visit SoldPoint for the incredible customer service and the convenience of not selling stuff themselves.

Customers simply drop off their items and Soldpoint's experts take care of the rest, including: professional photography, picking the right venue, listing items, payment processing, customer service, shipping and returns. SoldPoint Stays in touch with sellers through regular emails and phone calls to ensure a pain-free and enjoyable sales experience.

SoldPoint! has a 5000 sq. ft. facility located at 2263 Administration Drive in Maryland Heights, Missouri. Matt Gibson, SoldPoints Business Development Manager stated that SoldPoint! plans to open an additional 20 stores over the next eighteen months. Soldpoint! is open 10am - 6pm Monday thru Friday and 10am - 3pm on Saturday.
