Transactional Web and NextPOS parter to eliminate inefficient accounting and reporting processes for restaurants with a new web-based service. The new service is offered as a modest subscription and requires no large upfront investment in software or hardware. Merchants save time, money, and have instant access to actionable information anytime, anywhere.

Dallas, TX (PRWEB) November 30, 2004 – NextPOS Corporation and Transactional Web, Inc. (TWI) announce an end to the era of faxing, transcribing, express mailing, and manual data entry for restaurant businesses. The two companies partnered in early 2004 to integrate iEnterprise, TWIs online reporting and automation technology, with the NextPOS restaurant point-of-sale system. Today, the companies are pleased to announce the completion of their efforts and to introduce the solution to a problem that nearly every small and midsize restaurant owner has: managing and growing the business without getting bogged down with the cost of redundant, expensive, and mistake-prone manual data entry.

iEnterprise automatically acquires NextPOS data from every location and then creates and records balanced journal entries in the clients accounting system (including PC-based QuickBooks). NextPOS clients have automated accounting and can also view daily sales, labor, and product analysis reports across locations by logging into their secure iEnterprise website.

The integrated iEnterprise solution is provided as a subscription service – a model frequently referred to as software as a service" – that gives businesses access to leading applications without large upfront expenses or the burden of ongoing hardware and software maintenance. Software as service providers are able to offer solutions at a fraction of the cost of traditional systems primarily because they work from a single centralized version of the application delivered over the Internet. All enhancements, maintenance and upgrades happen for everyone at the same time. And, subscription pricing typically makes these applications cost-effective to a broader base of businesses than traditional software licensing.

Mike Moreland, TWIs CEO and a Texas CPA, explains that, the vast majority of the information needed for operational reporting, financial accounting, and payroll are captured at the point-of-sale. Even so, most restaurant owners pay hundreds of dollars each month for someone to re-type this same data into spreadsheets, accounting systems, and payroll systems. Our partnership with NextPOS will allow business owners to redirect those resources into more valuable and productive activities. And, our software as a service business model gives business owners assurance that were committed to the relationship for the long haul."

"The partnership of our two companies positions NextPOS and Transactional Web as two of the largest global players in the rapidly growing Hospitality Industry," said Mr. Tu, president and chief executive officer, NextPOS Corp. "Together, the two companies will be able to provide the most compelling and diversified suite of integrated restaurant management solutions around the globe, including Full Back Office management, Employee management, Advanced Reports, Subscription Based Web Technology, Hardware and Software management, and overall integration of a superior management suite."

"By combining Transactional Webs world class internet based accounting platform and reporting assets, with NextPOS corporations already robust restaurant applications business, we will further improve our ability to offer the highest quality restaurant management solutions. Together we expect to create enhanced value for our users, resellers and affiliates, and ultimately drive greater value for both our companies," said Mr. Tu.

"NextPOS Corp. pioneered the integration of a full suite of management tools, combined with a user intuitive Point of Sale application, and we believe there remains huge upside potential in this market," said Mr. Tu, president and chief executive officer, NextPOS Corporation. "By combining both the Software Solutions of NextPOS Corporation and Transactional Web, we believe our companies will be strongly positioned to take advantage of this growth opportunity by more rapidly developing and deploying innovative restaurant management solutions."
