CD of contagious laughter benefits national charity this Holiday season. It's a great gift idea and stocking stuffer that will tickle your friends'and family's funny bone, while also benefiting a national charity.

(PRWEB) December 1, 2004 -- If you are looking for an unusual gift that will tickle your friends'and family's funny bone, while also benefiting a national charity, why not give the gift of laughter? 60 minutes of laughter, to be exact.

Hey U.G.L.Y., the nonprofit organization dedicated to helping teens develop self-esteem and self respect has created an audio CD called "LAUGH IT OFF," which could be this year's best stocking stuffer. The CD contains 60 minutes of contagious laughter. It's available for $10.00 at http://www.heyugly.org and proceeds benefit this nonprofit organization. Instructions on the CD advise listeners to laugh continuously for at least one minute. Every day, increase the laugh session until you can laugh for ten minutes for a great, laughtercising(TM) workout. It can be played as background sound while at work, just hanging out or getting a party started. It will help lighten your mood and put a smile on your face.

Laughtercising veteran, Betty Hoeffner, produced the CD with help from nationally recognized voice-over expert, Richard Schoen -- who is the voice of such memorable campaigns as "Pork - The Other White Meat," and "There's More For Your Life at Sears." Schoen and Hoeffner play off of each other on the CD as it undulates from raucous to subtle to giddy to guttural laughter.

Hey U.G.L.Y. – unique gifted lovable you, was founded in 2001 on the belief that heightened self-esteem in our youth is the key to helping them deal with day-to-day peer pressure and challenges. Their interactive web site features message boards, contests, articles from well-respected experts, relevant news items, and provides a forum for teens to share their ideas, concerns, and questions on topics ranging from school and friends to world events.
