Future Sonics was the provider of specially designed earphones and microphone systems for FOX News Channel during the recent Republican National Convention and U.S. Presidential debates.

Pineville, PA (PRWEB) December 6, 2004 -- Future Sonics was the provider of specially designed earphones and microphone systems for FOX News Channel during the recent Republican National Convention and U.S. Presidential debates.

Future Sonics addressed a huge scope of needs for Fox News Channel's anchors and guests by providing their Future Sonics Ears brand (model EM3) earphones customized with their SofterWear custom fit sleeves and outfitted with E6 EarSet microphones designed by Carl Countryman for Countryman Associates and Lectrosonics IFB wireless systems. These systems were also in use by FOX News' commentators and technical staff -- both in the broadcast booth and on the very loud convention floor. The product combinations and configurations were custom designed specifically for Fox News Channel by Marty Garcia, president of Future Sonics Incorporated.

"Given the needs for broadcasting live (from what can be an excessively noisy convention floor), it made perfect sense to apply the right technologies for the best audio quality and our 'ambient noise-rejecting' capabilities with the necessary microphone additions for broadcast applications in order to complete this task appropriately and properly for FOX News," reports Garcia.

In addition to sound reinforcement applications for live music performance, Future Sonics has developed broadcast devices for major and independent networks, but this was a unique situation with the added need for both transmitting and receiving audio. Garcia continues, "we wanted to develop the right overall method for this particular application and environment. Carl Countryman's E6 EarSet design is beautiful and is the only device of its kind that does not wrap around the back side of the wearer's head. Countryman Associates offered excellent support to both Fox and myself. It was a challenge, but the results of these unique combinations were excellent by all reports."

Future Sonics Incorporated is the original innovator and industry leader of personal monitoring products and systems for major tours, venues, artists, engineers, television networks, radio stations, film production companies and houses of worship worldwide. Their dedication to sonic quality, reliability and personal service continue to serve the industry's professionals with both their custom fit and universal fit products as they have since 1985.
