Real Estate Apprentice Foundation Receives 1,000th Application

The Real Estate Apprentice Foundation is a non-profit venture and was formed in 2004 to assist new licensed agents entering the real estate industry, to overcome their fears and obstacles and to facilitate them to become top producing sales people by providing quality guidance, education, products and services and to help guide them on a successful fast track to profitability. 20 bi-annual grants, totaling $250,000 is awarded with no strings attached. Grants are sponsored by various leading real estate companies, service providers and industry leaders.

Aliso Viejo, CA (PRWEB) December 9, 2004 -- The Real Estate Apprentice Foundation announced today that it had received its 1,000th grant application for its first roll out season. According to Foundation Executive Director Stefan Swanepoel the response has been overwhelming and during the past 10 business days applications have been streaming in at an incredible rate of one every 15 minutes. We were hoping when the program was launched a few months back that we could make a difference in the lives of a few new real estate agents, but the acceptance has surpassed even our wildest expectations. Based on current interest levels from both new agents as well as sponsors we anticipate that we will receive over 20,000 applications in 2005.

According to Hugo Weber, Jr., Director of Education, at Polley Associates, a RealtyU® School, "the Real Estate Apprentice Grant is the best new program for real estate agents I have seen in 25 years. It is a perfect opportunity for a new licensee to receive useful tools that have real value at 'no-cost.' Only a fool would pass on the opportunity to benefit from the Real Estate Apprentice Grant."

The goal of The Real Estate Apprentice Foundation is to help new licensed agents in overcoming their fears and the obstacles that so often confront them as they launch into the real estate industry. The Real Estate Apprentice is a facilitator to help them become top producing real estate agents by providing quality guidance, education, products and services and to help guide them on a successful fast track to profitability.

Patrick C. Armbrust, Director of Armbrust Real Estate Institute, a RealtyU® School, was quoted as saying: Upon our rollout of the Real Estate Apprentice program in Denver, the participation has been nothing short of phenomenal. Our school focuses on building a new future with each student and as a school owner my success is tied directly to the success of my students. The Real Estate Apprentice program has allowed us to take that vesting to a whole new level."

The first roll out season of the Real Estate Apprentice ends this December. Judging will take place during January and in early February 10 lucky real estate agents will be awarded grants totaling $125,000. According to Dr. Martin Oliver, the Deputy Director of the Foundation, "this is to date the largest amount ever allocated to the betterment of new licensed estate agents. The overall winner, who will also be awarded the title The Real Estate Apprentice," will receive a single grant of education, products and services totaling $75,000 while nine finalists will individually be receiving grants valued at over $5,000 each. Grants made will not require any form of repayment."

Founding sponsors include RealtyU (www.realtyu.com) thelargest network of real estate schools in the nation; iSucceed (www.isucceed.com)a leading online real estate mentoring company; RIS Media (www.rismedia.com)and Broker Agent News (www.brokeragentnews.com)both large online news services in the real estate industry; Real Estate CyberSpace Society (www.recyber.com) and CourseDates (www.coursedates.com).

Participation is open to all new real estate students that are US or Canadian citizens or legal residents and took their real estate licensing course since July 1st, 2004. Interested parties can still apply for the first term online at www.RealEstateApprentice.com before December 31st.
