Hands-On! Drumming's Jim Greiner Trains International Drum Circle Facilitators

Award-winning percussionist and drum circle leader Jim Greiner shares his skills at prestigious Percussive Arts Society Workshop

Soquel, CA (PRWEB) December 13, 2004 -- Jim Greiner, founder of Hands-On! Drumming® and one of the worlds leading drum circle leaders, taught several successful Drum Circle Facilitation Workshops at the 2004 Percussive Arts Society International Convention (PASIC), held November 14 in Nashville, Tennessee. The workshops, designed for beginning to advanced group leaders of all types, presented techniques of drum circle facilitation.

The Drum Circle Facilitation Workshops covered beginning through advanced facilitation methods, and prepared participants to work with corporate, community and therapeutic groups of all sizes. Over 400 people from nine countries and four continents came away with the drumming, leadership and communication skills needed to facilitate motivating interactive drum circles.

"Jim Greiner's workshop was a resounding success," states Mark Ford, President of The Percussive Arts Society (PAS). "Jims workshop was very educational, and his personal touch was enjoyed by all!"

The Percussive Arts Society is the largest percussion education organization in the world, and PASIC is one of the most prestigious annual events in the world of drumming. Jim Greiner has led over a dozen clinics and workshops at past PASICs. This years Drum Circle Facilitation Workshop is only the second time in its fifty-year history that the PAS has offered an extended-length, five-hour long workshop. Mr. Greiner was specially selected by the PAS in recognition of his standing as one of the leaders of the contemporary community drumming movement.
