Limoneira Coffee Company to Open First Retail Outlet February 2005

Limoneira International, a division of Limoneira Company, announced it will open its first Limoneira Coffee Company retail outlet in February 2005 in Santa Paula, California. Limoneira International began distributing its coffee brand, known as Guará Arabica premium coffee, in 2004 to multiple retail, wholesale and food service channels.

Santa Paula, CA (PRWEB) December 10, 2004 -- Limoneira International, a division of Limoneira Company, announced it will open its first Limoneira Coffee Company retail outlet in February 2005 in Santa Paula, California.

Limoneira International, established in 2002, is the exclusive worldwide distributor of Guará Arabica premium coffee grown by Jogil Agropecuaria in the Jequitinhonha Valley in Minas Gerais, Brazil. As a single-source supplier, the entire coffee process, from seed to cup, takes place at Jogils more than 2,000-acre coffee plantation within its 40,000-acre farm. Coffee beans are harvested, dried and roasted under the supervision of Jogil owners José Olyntho Oliveira and his sons.

The Oliveira family takes great care in ensuring that each bag of Guará coffee contains beans that are consistent in size, quality, color and are rich in flavor," says Bill Allen of Limoneira International. Limoneira International began marketing its coffee under the Guará name in 2004 to multiple retail, wholesale and food service channels.

A natural outgrowth of our distribution efforts is to create company-owned and franchised retail coffee houses," says Allen. Brazil grows some of the best coffee in the world. Our coffee houses are designed to reflect the look and feel of the country. When customers step into Limoneira Coffee Company, theyll know they are about to enjoy a great Brazilian coffee drinking experience."

Besides serving and selling only Guará coffee brand products, the stores will also feature a full coffee house menu including hot and iced coffee drinks, gourmet teas, desserts, baked goods, bags of whole bean coffee and gift packs. The Santa Paula location will be a wireless Internet hot spot where customers can access the Internet from their wireless laptops or through the coffee houses own bank of computers.

For sales, distribution and franchise information, contact Bill Allen at 805-421-1013, ballen@Limoneira.com or visit www.limoneira.com.
