GolfLeague.us Releases New Online Golf League Software

New Online Golf League Software from www.GolfLeague.us offers a complete online management solution for golf leagues. The program manages handicaps, scheduling, and statistics from a password protected member area. GolfLeague does not require downloads and can be accessed anywhere an Internet connection is available.

(PRWEB) December 12, 2004 -- Described by industry leaders as the one of the best golf league software concepts ever to hit the web", GolfLeague.us has launched its completely online, and currently free, golf league administration program.

Joe Thomas, founder of GolfLeague.us, says he created the site after hearing from many people that golf league" software was too complicated to use and too expensive to purchase. Having managed golf leagues himself for over 15 years, Joe set out to design user-friendly software that would not require any downloading or updating by the user.

The result is an online golf league program that allows a league administrator to display handicaps, points, schedule matches, plan yearly golf league activities, and communicate with members. GolfLeague was designed to make the tedious job of running a golf league easier but it didn't stop there. The program also permits members to view information and to communicate with other members. At any time a member can see handicap and point changes, find out how individual and team standings have changed after the last round, see the past scoring history of opponents, check out the schedule and much, much more. This can be done anywhere the administrator or member has access to an on-line computer and does not require downloading any software.

Joe says Anyone can register and create a league from the front page of the GolfLeague.us website". The league is then assigned it's own password protected member area which is created and maintained by the GolfLeague Staff. In less than 5 minutes, an administrator can be looking around in a newly created golf league member area.

A younger staff member and co-owner Joe Thomas Jr. stated, Continuous improvement to the program is on going. As we develop the program further, some features may become exclusive paid GolfLeague member benefits but most basic features will continue to be free. For now, however, the entire program is offered at no cost".
