The federally registered Trademark, "Sin City" is being auctioned at EBay. The popularity of Class 25 provides the real value in the ownership of this mark because it covers a broad range of consumer goods. The outlay for such goods amounts to the millions of dollars annually, especially in tourism driven locales. After all, who wouldnt want to be known as the Mayor of "Sin City"?

(PRWEB) December 12, 2004 -- Longtime friends and entrepreneurs, Steve Varasteh and David Babiarz have agreed to sell Sin" to the highest bidder...Sin City" that is. A federally registered trademark issued by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (Registration Number. 2,591,771), is currently being auctioned at a premier internet auction site. The auction began on the 7th and runs through the 17th of December. EBay was chosen as the web host for this auction because of the popularity and accessibility of the site. The auction will be conducted subject to the rules governing all offerings on EBay and the proceeds from the auction will in part be used to promote the remaining Trademarks in the friends portfolio.

The Trademark being offered is for International Class 25 whose coverage includes: Clothing namely tops and bottoms, T-Shirts, Sweatshirts, Sweaters, Shorts, Sweatpants, Socks, Underwear, Pants, Sweatbands, Hats, Caps, Shoes, Boots, and Sneakers etc.

The popularity of Class 25 provides the real value in the ownership of this mark because it covers a broad range of consumer goods. The outlay for such goods amounts to the millions of dollars annually, especially in tourism driven locales. And for those not motivated solely by the financial possibilities, there is also the novelty of being the owner of such an identifiable Trademark. After all, who wouldnt want to be known as the Mayor of "Sin City"?

Motivated by the success of the Threepeat" Trademark more than fifteen years ago, Steve Varasteh and David Babiarz have taken their passion for the spoken word and have turned a hobby into a burgeoning business. Their portfolio of Trademarks spans a broad spectrum of interests and has a wide range of applications.
