Cancer Fighter Uses Reiki to Speed Recovery from Surgery

Download this press release as an Adobe PDF document.

Woman learns ancient Japanese art of healing from DVD and uses it to speed her healing from surgery. Prior to this, she was a non-believer.

(PRWEB) December 15, 2004 -- Brandi, a 33 year old woman friend of mine called me one day and said she had some tests done, and the initial prognosis was ovarian cancer. About a week later she called and said, "I'm going in for surgery Monday (it must have been bad to rush her in so quickly)...this is where I'll be...I'm having a hystorectomy..."

I am a Reiki master. I teach people to heal themselves and others. Briefly, Reiki is an ancient Japanese art of energy healing. Reiki heals on a phsyical, spiritual and emotional level, so true and lasting healing can occur. Healing is achieved by placing the hands over specific areas of the body and channeling "universal life force energy" either into yourself or others.

When I heard of Brandi's condition I told her I was sending her a DVD of my class and begged her to watch it. "Please, please, please watch this video" I said, "You're going to be laying in bed doing nothing anyway. Please watch this and practice the techniques."

Brandi did watch the DVD and practiced the techniques and her recovery has been amazing. I saw her and worked on her once while she was in the hospital (2 days after surgery). The rest is all her, a virtual beginner in energy healing. This testimonial was sent to me on Dec 8, listen to Brandi's amazing story.

"Jeff,
I can't thank you enough for the DVD on Reiki. As you know I have been fighting cancer of my cervix, uterus and ovaries. I started Reiki 2 days before my hysterectomy. I was much calmer and feel I had already started the healing process before surgery. While my recovery from surgery was very painful, I did Reiki on myself in the hospital and found some relief whilst I was waiting for the medications to kick in. I had horrible gas pains and after you came to the hospital and did Reiki on me, I had "relief".

Recovery at home as you know can take up to 8-12 weeks before I am able to get around somewhat regularly. I did reiki everyday, sometimes several times a day as needed for pain relief. I felt immediate relief of the intensity of pain.

I am now 3 weeks post-op and was able to start back to work last week. Albeit I am moving around rather slowly, I am considered to be advanced in my healing.

I have a girlfriend who has suffered the same fate as I. She is 3 months post-op and we are equal in our abilities to care for ourselves. She didn't do Reiki & I am doing it regularly. The difference is very clear.

Thank you for loving others enough to share your findings in Reiki. I tell everybody about it- funny thing, yesterday a friend of mine had a neck cramp and came to me to receive Reiki, because she knows that's why I'm able to get around so soon.

Thanks again.
Love,
Brandi"
