Alpharetta, GA (PRWEB) December 16, 2004 -- realMethods announces the integration and support for Hibernate, the extremely popular object/relational persistence and query service. Version 4.0 of the realMethods J2EE Framework allows developers to optionally select Hibernate as the handler of persistence in both EJB and non-EJB application model scenarios. Hibernate is open sourced and is released under the LGPL.

Version 4.0 continues to demonstrate realMethods commitment to simplifying the development and execution of J2EE technologies. The frameworks code generation capabilities leads the J2EE tool market in the amount of application functionality generated, as well as the number of different patterns and application models available. Being a Model Driven Architecture (MDA) compliant tool, the framework and its code generator support and enforce the promise of a single platform independent model used to deliver one or more platform specific models.

Hibernate integration within v4.0 further illustrates realMethods superiority in both generating fully functional J2EE applications, as well providing key application run-time services such as logging, security, and a configurable application cache.
