Asset Reallocation Software Company Names Dennis Hayes to Head Advisory Board of Industry Experts
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) December 21, 2004 -- GBUCS today announced the establishment of its advisory board to be chaired by technology industry pioneer and inventor, Dennis Hayes. Hayes is perhaps best known for inventing the PC modem in 1977, establishing the critical foundation technology that allowed todays Internet industries to emerge and grow. Hayes brings particular expertise and experience in growing high-tech businesses to a team of prominent advisors selected by GBUCs principals Stephen Meade and Bob Gerometta.
Dennis Hayes and our other board members bring decades of business and technology savvy to the table. This will help us accomplish our goal of growing GBUCS into the premier provider of web-based tools for asset visibility and reallocation," said Stephen Meade, CEO of GBUCs. "In my opinion the information technology revolution really started with the invention of the Hayes modem. Needless to say, were very excited to have his caliber of experience and leadership helping to guide us."
Regarding the company for which he now serves as advisory board chairman, Hayes states, GBUCS is truly on the forefront of the technology that makes it possible for organizations to globally identify and reallocate their idle resources quickly, accurately and easily. I speak for the entire advisory board when I say how excited we are about our involvement and the way the market is evolving to embrace this technology."
GBUCS currently offers two web-based applications: RONAStar and Emergency Asset Management System EAMS.
- RONAStar addresses the problem of identifying and reallocating the 10-15% of corporate assets that are typically unused or underutilized in Fortune 1000 corporations. RONAStar provides the global visibility, audit accountability and reallocation mechanisms missing in traditional asset management systems. The major benefits of RONAStar include gaining greater working capital efficiency, avoiding redundant purchasing, and boosting return on net assets enterprise-wide.
- EAMS is a solution for business continuity and disaster mitigation, and facilitates the deployment of corporate, government and emergency resources before, during and after a disaster. EAMS helped businesses affected by the 9/11 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center obtain desperately needed working space, equipment and supplies to help them resume business operations.
