Arizona Author Releases Preliminary Plans to Raise More Than $200,000 for the 'Don't Think Like an Elephant! National Reading & Discovery Tour

Fran Briggs announces plans to go on tour with new, children's book with real life applications which show students how to achieve

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) December 21, 2004 -- Arizona Author Fran Briggs today announced the launch of the "The Don't Think Like an Elephant National Reading & Discovery" tour -- a cross-country road trip, which encourages American students to achieve and see beyond their limitations. She will read her new personal empowerment book, "Don't Think Like an Elephant!"

Briggs is an internationally recognized self-help expert, syndicated columnist, publisher, educator and "motivational speaker of the inspirational kind." Recognizing that children of her book could best be served by using a memorable character to communicate themes such as: confidence, persistence, belief and self-esteem, she immediately thought of an elephant. Fran Briggs will kick off the 'Don't Think Like an Elephant National Reading & Discovery Tour' in the fall of 2006.

"In September, 2006, I will kick off The Don't Think Like an Elephant National Reading Tour , a 22 month cross country road trip to over 1,100 schools," said Fran Briggs. "The aim is to encourage students to see beyond their limitations and massively achieve in and outside of the classroom."

"Don't Think Like an Elephant!" was written with success for every child in mind. The full-color publication is brilliantly illustrated by Richard De Siato who has done notable work with Disney, 20th Century Fox and Warner Brothers. Kids, everywhere will be entertained by the message-filled text set in rhyme format. "Don't Think Like an Elephant!" is an exciting book which promises to resonate in the hearts of its readers for a long, long time.

The Fran Briggs Companies is committed to the personal empowerment of men, women and children from all backgrounds. The organization has projected to donate more than 10,000 copies of the children's motivational book to schools across America.
