Know Before You Go: Villa Renting Without the Guesswork

Download this press release as an Adobe PDF document.

Rentvillas.com, a villa rental company specializing in villa rentals in Italy, France, Spain, Greece, Portugal, UK and Turkey, has launched a new feature on their web site that puts prospective property renters in direct, anonymous email contact with previous villa or apartment renters.

(PRWEB) December 29, 2004 -- Since 1984, Rentvillas.com has freely shared former clients candid villa and apartment reviews in the belief that full disclosure leads to increased customer satisfaction. The new Ask Our Customers site tool expands on this belief by enabling prospective renters to obtain independent reactions and opinions direct from previous renters.

Over the years Rentvillas.com has sent thousands of travelers to Europe to stay in rental villas and apartments. In the past, customers have relied on staff expertise and customer reviews to select their villas. Now, site users may submit specific questions to previous renters before making their final selection: Was the kitchen well equipped in the villa? Was the rental house light and airy? Any mice or resident ghosts in the attic? As company Founder Suzanne Pidduck, explains, "If you are going to travel thousands of miles to live for a week or more in one place, you dont need any surprises. While we personally visit our villas and apartments, a single afternoon visit can never be the same as living there for a week or more."

The Ask Our Customers feature is user-friendly and straightforward. To submit a question, the user clicks "Ask our Customers" under the Independent Opinion heading at the top right of the villa description page. Both submissions and responses are anonymous, thereby ensuring that personal customer information, including email addresses, remains private.

For additional information on this new feature, contact Suzanne Pidduck at 800-726-6702, ext. 106.

About Rentvillas.com
Rentvillas.com specializes in villas, apartments, cottages, and farmhouses in Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Great Britain, Greece, and Turkey. In June of 1984, Rentvillas.com founder Suzanne Pidduck rented her first Italian villa, an imposing 18th century Tuscan villa situated atop a hill. She had a hunch that other American travelers would appreciate such an experience. Before departing, she met with an Italian local property management company to propose that she represent them in the United States. Rentvillas.com, formerly Rentals in Italy, was born.
