Hotel / Motel Soundproofing Made Easy with New QuietBarrier

American Micro Industries, Inc. introduces new soundproofing product, QuietBarrier, for noise control issues.

CHAMBERSBURG, PA (PRWEB) December 19, 2004 -- As a follow-up to its QuietDoor product for hotels and motels, American Micro Industries recently introduced QuietBarrier, an easy to install soundproofing product.

QuietBarrier is a fire rated 1/4" thick, 2 lb per square foot vinyl composite in sheet form noise barrier. More effective than a sheet of lead for stopping sound, it is used to lower sound transmission between hotel / motel walls. QuietBarrier is loaded with heavy minerals that provide superior performance for preventing noise from leaving a room as well as keeping outside noise from getting in.

The best time to install QuietBarrier in a hotel or motel is during construction or renovation. To achieve optimal performance, QuietBarrier should be installed under drywall and above drop ceilings. If a room is not being renovated, but the benefits of QuietBarrier are immediately required, it can be installed over existing drywall in a guest room, while adding another layer of drywall over QuietBarrier for finishing. Applications for QuietBarrier include guest rooms, mechanical rooms, restaurants, common areas, elevator rooms and vending areas.

"We introduced QuietBarrier in response to guest complaints received by our hotel and motel customers. While QuietDoor, our other hotel and motel soundproofing product, addressed the noise problems caused by the adjoining doors in rooms, QuietBarrier is the best and only solution for all of the other areas of a hotel or motel that generate excessive noise," said Mike Staggs, Marketing Manager at American Micro Industries, Inc.

If you would like to find out more information about QuietBarrier, please visit our website at http://www.hotelsoundproofing.com/quietbarrier.html .
