Published author of Microsoft Technologies to speak at Northern New Jersey .NET User Group.

Parsippany, NJ (PRWEB) February 1, 2004 -- SetFocus, a New Jersey based .NET Training company as well as host and sponsor of the Northern New Jersey .NET User Group (http://www.n3ug.org), announced today it will host Deborah Kurata at its next User Group meeting, February 10, 2004.

Deborah Kurata is co-founder of InStep Technologies Inc., a professional consulting firm that focuses on turning a business vision into reality using Microsoft .NET Technologies. Deborah is the author of several books, including 'Doing Objects in Visual Basic 6.0' (SAMS) and 'Doing Web Development: Client-Side Techniques' (APress), and writes for MSDN. She is a well-known speaker at conferences, such as VSLive, and at local user groups. She has over 15 years of experience in designing and developing successful applications and currently focuses on .NET architecture, object-oriented design and development, and best practices for .NET development.

The February 10th presentation, titled Best Kept Secrets of .NET”, will cover the many new features in .NET, some of which have gotten great publicity (like Web services) while others have been left lurking in the shadows. This talk will shed some light on these lesser-known features to help programmers make the most of .NET. This event will be sponsored by INETA, The International .NET Association, a non-profit independent organization, chartered with supporting all user groups interested in the Microsoft .NET Platform.
