Award-Winning Actor & Acclaimed Artist Paul Sorvino Kicks Off Unique Art Exhibition in Nation's Capital

(Washington, D.C. - February 9, 2004) In March 2004, Congressional, Diplomatic, Community and Sports leaders, along with artists and collectors, will assemble to support artistic expression throughout the Washington DC metro area for an exceptional exhibit celebrating the sensual beauty of the human form through classic and contemporary paintings, photography and sculpture. Proceeds will benefit the Sorvino Asthma Foundation. The Washington's Unseen Eros IV Exclusive Art Exhibition & Reception, a locally produced exhibition, will be held in the renowned Melrose Hotel for one night only, March 26, 2004.

This year's exhibition will be expanding into an even larger international arena with the addition of special guest artist, internationally acclaimed award-winning actor, director, producer, and singer of opera Mr. Paul Sorvino along with renowned Russian-born artist Andrey Bogoslowsky and others. Members of the media are encouraged to visit the website or to contact the organizers for further information about this unusual and exciting exhibition. The submission deadline for entries is March 9, 2004.

This supreme social and artistic exhibit of the erotic illuminates the perception of sexuality through self expression and art. Voluptuous scenes by international masters of fine art, such as Andrey Bogoslowsky, who is represented by five New York City galleries and whose work was featured by ESCADA, will be combined with specially selected hors d' oeuvres and cocktails to express with elegance what most find difficult to articulate. Featured restaurants will be specializing in exotic cuisine and spirits to make this a festival for all the senses.

Washingtons Unseen Eros IV combines subtle erotic material in various media with an aesthetic that is haunting, poignant, comic and often completely enthralling. This exhibit and reception will include diverse and exceptional fine art nude, erotic and sensual works done in various media by some of the most noted and talented artists in the world today. Proceeds will benefit the Sorvino Asthma Foundation.
