Stars & Stripes Joins The Destiny Group Network

As job seekers use both the internet and the newspapers to find employers, The Destiny Group has formed a strategic alliance with the Stars and Stripes to offer a comprehensive alternative to the three major job boards to reach our targeted niche. To make it easier for both employers and job seekers within the military transition space, The Destiny Group continues to incorporate veteran specific/oriented sites into its patent pending career/resume search technology. This "one-stop shopping" approach has now expanded to include 40 different sites, all using a common platform. The following press release provides details on Stars and Stripes joining the network

(San Diego, March 10, 2004)- The Destiny Group is proud to announce the recent addition of Stars and Stripes, the Department of Defenses official overseas newspaper (www.stripes.com) and new Monthly Transition Magazine, ‘Evolve to its network of veteran specific career centers. This increases the number of career centers that The Destiny Group operates to 40.

Even though some would say that the veteran community is a niche all its own, within this community of 12 million people, there are many sub interests and specialties" states Bill Gaul, President and Founder of The Destiny Group. Regardless of which doorway a veteran steps through, they are welcomed with open arms into the Destinys Oracle based database which assists them with career content, resume assistance, and most importantly; contacts into the civilian world. We are proud to include the readers of the Stars and Stripes periodicals into our network. Furthermore, this allows us to create a complete solution for any employer, with both online and print advertising options targeting our community, bundled for increased savings and reduced effort for the employer."

The Stars and Stripes joins an impressive list of fellow affiliates to include The Air Force Association, VMI Alumni Association, and The US Army Ranger Association This serves employers well that wish to target transitioning/former military personnel, by giving them one single place to post their opportunities and have them automatically cross posted to the entire network at no additional cost or effort. Additionally, veterans can still utilize whichever sites they prefer using and have one common username/password to apply for any position they see without having to re-register over and over again.

Fred Benson, Advertising Director for the Stars and Stripes states "Stars and Stripes is delighted to be working with the Destiny Group. We welcome all opportunities to enhance the lives of our service members and their families. We see alliances like this one, with the Destiny Group, as helping us serve our mission - to provide information relevant to the Military Community".

Direct Employers wishing to save time and money while tapping this talent pool may register for FREE and without obligation at www.Destinygrp.com or www.Stripes.com to learn more about this unique network and can review the services that would best suit them. Prices start at just $150/month for a posting to $3888 for a complete year of bundled limited services to include access to any of the 10 resume databases they operate.
