5-time PBA title winner and Sport Bowling Spokesperson Chris Barnes will visit St. Louis on May 5th, 2004, to kick off the 2-Ball Challenge Sport Bowling Practice Session at Brunswick Zone Lakeside.

Chris Barnes, 5-time PBA title winner and Sport Bowling Spokesperson will visit St. Louis on Wednesday, May 5th to kick off the 2-Ball Challenge Sport Practice Session at Brunswick Zone Lakeside.
The 2-Ball Challenge is sponsored by Bowlers Aid Pro Shops, LLC and Brunswick Zone Lakeside, and boasts rigorous Sport Bowling conditions in an innovative singles format. 80 participants not only compete for a healthy prize fund and the $1500 first place cash, but also receive a Brunswick Ultimate Inferno and a Brunswick Power Groove R, the only bowling balls allowed during competition. Extraordinary bowler interest and the diligent efforts of league organizers guarantees another sold out session, and competition begins at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 13th.
Mr. Barnes May 5th schedule includes a visit to Bowlers Aid Pro Shop at Brunswick Zone Chesterfield from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., where he will meet and greet bowling fans, answer questions, and sign autographs. From 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. he will visit Bowlers Aid Pro Shop at Brunswick Zone Lakeside, and will present his Sport Bowling Tips and Techniques at 6:30 p.m. in Lakesides meeting room. Shortly after 7 p.m., Mr. Barnes will take to the lanes, offering hands-on assistance to bowlers testing their skills against Lakesides Sport Bowling Conditions. The Sport Bowling Seminar and Practice Session is Free to all 2-Ball Challenge participants, and $15 per adult/$10 per youth or senior for a limited number of guests. Sport Bowling is a program created by the American Bowling Congress and the Womens International Bowling Congress. It consists of leagues and tournaments that are conducted on challenging lane conditions. The program, in its most basic form, is an opportunity for all bowlers to determine their true skills in such areas as accuracy, consistency, the ability to read lanes, and spare shooting. It is a new level of competition embraced by bowlers who are seeking a greater challenge.
