Pencil and paper has finally met with the computer age in a way that doesnt leave anyone feeling technologically challenged. ISaAC Scoring Systems, LLC. Has created a system that uses off the shelf" HP (Hewlett Packard) technologies to bring to bear what is arguably the most advanced game improvement system ever developed for golf enthusiasts.

(PRWEB) April 13 2004 -- Pencil and paper have joined the computer age in a merger that leaves no one feeling technologically challenged. ISaAC Scoring Systems, LLC. has designed a system using off the shelf" HP (Hewlett Packard) technologies to bring to the golf market what is arguably the most advanced and comprehensive game improvement system ever developed.

From the time when the first golf ball was struck until today golf enthusiasts have attempted to improve their game and track their performance by scribbling little marks on their scorecard to identify events on the course. Things such as drive in the fairway", greens in regulation", number of putts," etc. are all goals that are tracked regularly. Every enthusiast knows that these and other metrics are important in improving their game. ISaAC now takes what were scribbles on the scorecard and converts them into useable data.

Using simple "fill in the dot" technology, the golfer fills in a circle on a specially designed scorecard to record Key Performance Indicators on each hole. When their round is completed, the golfer simply returns the card back to the clubhouse where it is scanned and is input automatically into ISaAC. The ISaAC system then uses the scanned data to provide comprehensive charts, graphs and reports regarding the rounds played. The system also offers tips, drills and will establish game improvement goals.

You may view the card at:

The ISaAC System prints a scorecard which is customized for each course and round played. In addition, ISaAC prints stats and scores from previous rounds played on the scorecard for quick reference.

INTERNET TECHNOLOGIES
ISaAC uses the latest internet technologies to ensure that the golfers statistics are only a few clicks away. When a card is scanned into the ISaAC system, it is instantly uploaded to the ISaACGolf.com website. Golfers can log in to review their stats, get their updated handicap, check tournament results, or request time with their Club Pro. Both the golfer and Pro can view multiple sets of reports that will pinpoint strengths and weaknesses and help define improvement areas. This will make instruction time more productive and results realized sooner.

ISaAC also uses WAP technology to give golfers the ability to check statistics from their cell phone. With this capability, if the golfer must leave the course at the conclusion of their round and before the tournament has ended, ISaAC can notify them by text message (SMS) with the final tournament results.

ISaAC Scoring Systems mission is "To give every enthusiast the opportunity and ability to maximize their appreciation and enjoyment of the golf experience."
