Newsletters by RSS Software Released

RSS Content Delivery Software replaces email as delivery channel for Newsletters between Users and Websites.

EDMONTON, Canada (PRWEB) April 14, 2004 -– ToolButton Inc. today launched NewslettersByRSS.com. The free NewslettersByRSS service allows newsletter publishers to continue to deliver their newsletters by email while trying out the much-hyped delivery medium of RSS. Publishers obtain a special NewslettersByRSS email address which they add to their newsletter distribution list. When the newsletter is emailed to the list in the normal course of publication, it is automatically converted by NewslettersByRSS and immediately available to the subscriber as a RSS feed.

Websites have long used newsletters to increase their 'draw' of visitors back to their web site. This strategy, while very successful in the past, is in peril because of the ravages of SPAM filtering. Publishers of electronic newsletters have seen the open rate of their newsletters dropping at an alarming rate with the subsequent impact on effectiveness.

RSS technology is an excellent alternative delivery vehicle which bypasses these problems however publishers have been hesitant to drop the tried-and-true method of email in large part because of the hesitancy of a new technology.

NewslettersByRSS has eliminated the need for technical RSS expertise in the publication process" said Dale Janssen, Chief Idea Creator and President of ToolButton Inc. "The result is a spam free delivery vehicle that can easily be implemented without changing existing business processes."

Generating RSS feeds are only one-half of the formula for content distribution. Subscribers must have a program to read" the feed content. ToolButton provides a solution for this with the ToolButton Deskbar software program. The ToolButton Deskbar is a RSS reader, a search tool, a form filler and messaging application installed on the Users desktop. The ToolButton Deskbar creates brand awareness and customer loyalty by displaying the publishers icon within the Deskbar.
