Vancouver, WA (PRWEB) April 15, 2004 –- Rapid Intake Inc. today announced plans for a new conference focused specifically on e-learning developers. E-Learning DevCon 2004 is scheduled to take place August 9-11, 2004 in Forest Grove, OR, just outside of Portland, OR.

We chose a college campus setting for this conference to create a very down-to-earth and community feeling event," said Greg Berglund, Rapid Intakes Director of Sales and Marketing. Plus the campus provides a perfect environment for learning and allows us to pass on considerable cost savings to our attendees as compared to hosting this in a hotel or convention setting. This conference promises twice the content for half the cost!" Rapid Intake will be hosting e-Learning DevCon 2004 on the Pacific University campus and will offer very affordable on-campus lodging options for attendees who are interested.

This conference is designed specifically for the e-learning developers out there, or those who would like to become an e-learning developer (such as technical writers and instructional designers). The conference planning has been in the works for several years according to Rapid Intake and the lineup of available sessions is growing quite impressive. The main focus of the conference will be on the tips, tricks and techniques of the toolsets used by developers but there will be several complimentary topics offered that one would encounter during most e-learning project work.

Pre-conference training sessions will also be available to a limited number of attendees and are scheduled to take place Friday and Saturday, August 6-7. Attendees will have the choice of a two-day, hands-on session on Using Macromedias Dreamweaver and CourseBuilder to Create e-Learning or Using Flash to Create e-Learning.

Early registration discounts are available at the companys website. For complete details on the e-Learning DevCon event visit the conference website at www.elearndevcon.com
